I don’t think this book would
Come off very convincing to people new to these concepts. I mostly think a lot of blanket statements get made without direct statistics and data being cited to back up the claim.
I realize that it’s well researched but there are moments where the author mentions research but then doesn’t mention the research or there isn’t a footnote on it. As someone who agrees with all of the sentiments listed, the way in which it’s written and the lack of footnotes feels like a major turnoff-even for me.

One of the best books I've read in a minute. Kai talks about issues that I feel as if are kind of overwritten about at this point. But how she writes about them feels refreshing and invigorating. My only qualm is that I wish it was longer!
