reviews were right. Not a great book. Reads like a fiction novel more and there is no historical citations which discredits everything for me. I wanted to learn more history! Also I'm so bored of every historical book on punk circulating around sex pistols.

Oddly captivating and beautifully written. She takes such a simple topic (blue) and writes a series of lists or proses in all the ins and outs and intersections of "blueness". I'm in love, yet again, with another of Maggie Nelson's writings.
