What an enjoyable book! It's really refreshing to read about characters who are so free from flaws and do their best and with bad people that aren't so terrible. The only "bad" thing was the religious propoganda and uhh war propoganda.

Easy to read philosophy. I don't agree with some of the author's opinions, and also, some ideas and information are pretty outdated, but surprising to see how some of the concerns of the 1930s are still existing today. If I, a non-philosopher, can read and understand it, you can too!

Pretty disappointing. Feel like King is pretty far removed from what it feels like to talk or think like a pre-adolescent girl. Also PLEASE stop with the sexual descriptions/acts that add nothing to the narrative. and weird "this girl is going to look HOT when she's older". Also, really not thrilling, and Rose is really stupid. Surely someone is not that proud so as to underestimate a girl to this level. If so, her pride could be made clearer or something? Idk. Really disappointing. And sad for the lack of any actual horror.
