OK now this is a good ass fantasy book. We got wild topics of genocide, eugenics, a charismatic and charming but ultimately beyond evil villain, goblins, artificers, lizard people, minotaurs, epic battles, sprawling worlds with deep descriptions. Was a true page turner!
Help, I can't stop reading MTG books (this one actually has some legs though)
this... was not a good book. Unfortunate as it comes close to exploring some interesting issues (climate change, organizing to overthrow oppressive structures, what happens when a golem transitions from cold steel to flesh?) but other then these being simple plot points to hit and then move on, there's no subsistence here.
very fluffy, not that elegantly written but fun nonetheless dive into one of the more interesting MTG planes. Love a good goblin/golem combo.
