OK now this is a good ass fantasy book. We got wild topics of genocide, eugenics, a charismatic and charming but ultimately beyond evil villain, goblins, artificers, lizard people, minotaurs, epic battles, sprawling worlds with deep descriptions. Was a true page turner!

this... was not a good book. Unfortunate as it comes close to exploring some interesting issues (climate change, organizing to overthrow oppressive structures, what happens when a golem transitions from cold steel to flesh?) but other then these being simple plot points to hit and then move on, there's no subsistence here.
