Pretty disappointing. Feel like King is pretty far removed from what it feels like to talk or think like a pre-adolescent girl. Also PLEASE stop with the sexual descriptions/acts that add nothing to the narrative. and weird "this girl is going to look HOT when she's older". Also, really not thrilling, and Rose is really stupid. Surely someone is not that proud so as to underestimate a girl to this level. If so, her pride could be made clearer or something? Idk. Really disappointing. And sad for the lack of any actual horror.
